WebClip Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

WebClip is a browser extension that extracts data from web pages you choose and exports it as files. This policy explains what data WebClip handles and where it goes.

Data stored on your device

Everything you extract (products, tables, links, emails, images and other page content), your settings, marketplace templates you add, saved workflows and your Anthropic API key are stored locally in your browser using the extension storage. WebClip has no servers and no accounts. The developer does not receive, collect or have access to this data. You can delete your extracted data at any time in Settings, and all data is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Data sent to third parties — only when you use these features

What WebClip does not do

Permissions

WebClip requests access to websites so it can read the pages you choose to extract from, download images, and look up product details on the stores listed above when you ask it to. It uses downloads to save your files, storage to keep your data locally, and the side panel to show its interface.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
